It is a newly launched premium policy analysis brand built on NNP’s media management experience accumulated over the past 15 years, its digital broadcasting infrastructure, its readership among Korean Americans in the U.S., and its expertise in political and current affairs commentary.

The Korea Signal was created to provide a comprehensive analysis of the evolving dynamics on the Korean Peninsula, in the United States, and within the Indo-Pacific order. Today, political changes in South Korea are no longer confined to domestic issues. The ROK-U.S. alliance, the North Korean nuclear threat, the expanding influence of the Chinese Communist Party, Indo-Pacific security, supply chain restructuring, and issues of liberal democracy and human rights are all directly linked to U.S. foreign and security policy.

However, political and social changes discussed in the Korean-speaking world are often not adequately conveyed to the English-speaking policy community. Conversely, the perspectives of Washington policymakers, congressional staff, and think tank experts on Korean Peninsula issues are frequently not conveyed to Korean-speaking readers within the proper context. The Korea Signal aims to bridge this gap.

As a bilingual policy analysis platform using both Korean and English, we seek to bridge the gaps in information, language, and policy interpretation between Korea and the United States.
